KUALA LUMPUR – Prasarana Integrated Development Sdn Bhd (Pride) and redONE Network Sdn Bhd have announced a partnership which entails the rebranding of the KL Sentral LRT station as “KL Sentral redONE” LRT station.

Pride chief executive officer Fa’izah Khairuddin said the partnership with mobile virtual network operator redONE, which is part of a five-year station naming rights agreement, is a strategic initiative designed to create partnerships with well-established brands to showcase and expand their brand presence on a range of Prasarana assets.

“In the broader sense, naming right is amongst the most exclusive forms of sponsorship and marketing that exist today.

“With station naming rights, the corporates now have a direct link or programme for engagement toward the improvement of public transportation,” she said at the rebranding launch in KL Sentral here today.

Meanwhile, redONE’s chief executive officer Farid Yunus said the partnership enables the promotion of brands to millions of station users and further strengthens and establishes a presence in the Klang Valley.

“We are targeting the B40 and M40 groups and we believe this collaboration is a good platform to reach that audience,” he said.
