IS it true? Are we finally able to bop to our favourite artists sans our mobile screens?
Amid the relative ease towards the social limitations of Covid-19, PR Worldwide introduces Live Support to an audience deprived of the experience of live performances.
With safe distancing seating configuration, the event imposes a strict ‘No Mask, No Entry’ access to maintain the health and hygiene protocols.
Tonight at 8.30pm, Live Support presents Alive Again showcase which will bring together top acts of local entertainment. It will be among the first few live performances selected in the country to take place under new regulations. Events will only be permitted to an audience half the size of the venue’s regular capacity.
To be hosted at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), artists include Datuk Zainal Abidin, Zee Avi, Muzza, Mac Chew, Sham Kamikaze, Lewis Pragasam, Daniel Fong and Khairul Izwan among the star-studded line-up.
Comedians Harith Iskander and Mad Sabah are set to take the stage together as co-hosts for the two-hour performance.
This non-profit initiative is part of a series of events to reset the ecosystem and restart an industry that has been severely impacted by the pandemic.
“Covid-19 has brought our live events industry to a complete standstill. It has been over a year since any of us are able to perform for our audience, but we are ‘Alive Again’,” said veteran singer Datuk Zainal Abidin in a short video message to promote the concert.
“I am thrilled to be performing at Live Support, join me and my friends to support the industry."
