Fret not if you can’t watch Geeked Week live because we’re compiling all of the latest news, hottest clips and lots more this week to keep you up-to-date and on top of the action. 

Here’s what was announced:

• Critically-acclaimed fantasy series Shadow and Bone summons a second season.

• Upcoming Jason Momoa action flick, Sweet Girl, tells the story about a devastated husband who vows to bring justice to the people responsible for his wife’s death while protecting the only family he has left, his daughter (Isabela Merced). 

• Our favourite gentleman burglar, Lupin, returns for Season 2 on Friday.

• Directed by Peter Thowarth’s Blood Red Sky is an upcoming horror film about a mysteriously ill woman flying with her young son who is forced to unleash a dark secret when terrorists attempt to hijack their transatlantic flight.

• The Ice Road is a film starring Liam Neeson and Laurence Fishburne about ice road truckers on an impossible rescue mission over a frozen ocean to save trapped miners. 

• Kate centers on a ruthless criminal operative who, after being irreversibly poisoned, has less than 24 hours to exact revenge on her enemies and in the process forms an unexpected bond with the daughter of one of her past victims. Starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey), Kate launches on September 10, only on Netflix. 

• The exclusive action-packed trailer for The Last Mercenary is revealed. The Jean-Claude Van Damme action comedy follows a former French secret service special agent turned mercenary, who must reach out to his old contacts and join forces with a bunch of reckless youngsters when a mob operation threatens his son’s life.

• Set sail behind the scenes look at the new world of the highly anticipated spinoff, Vikings: Valhalla, which begins 100 years after the original series concludes, dramatizing the adventures of the most famous Vikings who ever lived.
