SEASON 2 of The Witcher is finally here, and this time around, we’re seeing new monsters, new stories, new powers, and of course, new characters.

Now, before you go, “Hmm, where have I seen this guy before…?”, here’s a quick introduction to the new cast members and characters of The Witcher Season 2, and why they look so familiar:

1. Kristofer Hivju is Nivellen, an old friend of Geralt (main photo)

You might recognise him from: Game of Thrones, where he plays the uncouth but lovable Tormund Giantsbane, and as Connor Rhodes — Charlize Theron’s right-hand man — in The Fate of the Furious.

Hivju will also be voicing Andvari, a shape-shifting dwarf in Norse mythology, in Zack Snyder’s upcoming anime Twilight of the Gods.

2. Adjoa Andoh is Nenneke, a high priestess of Melitele

He was also the voice of Dracula in the Castlevania animated series and Deglan in The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf

5. Kim Bodnia is Vesemir, the oldest Witcher alive and a father figure to Geralt

You might recognise her from: Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model, which she competed in and ultimately won in Series 5.

Now that you’re familiar with the new characters, here’s your chance to get up close and personal with one of the new monsters in The Witcher Season 2.

From now ‘til January 2 next year, the Water Feature at the Ground Floor of Sunway Pyramid will be under siege by a Myriapod, and we need your help, fellow Witcher, to defeat the beast.
