BAGAN DATUK – Datuk M Daud Kilau is expected to undergo a heart surgery at the National Heart Institute (IJN) in Kuala Lumpur soon.

The 82-year-old veteran singer, who had been discharged from Teluk Intan Hospital recently, said he is scheduled for a pre-operative assessment at IJN on Monday.

“I arrived at my son’s house at Wangsa Maju (Kuala Lumpur) today. If all goes well, insya Allah I will soon check in for surgery, ” he said here, today.

The ‘Che Mek Molek’ singer said he was touched by the strings of messages and calls from fans and friends, who offered words of encouragements and well wishes.

“I ask for fans and anybody who knows me to pray for me that the surgery go well,” he said.

Meanwhile, his son, Ahmad Zaini, 49, said his father had been experiencing fatigue and loss of appetite after being warded at Teluk Intan Hospital since November 12.
