THIS month, K-fans are in for a treat. Astro will be presenting the hottest K-pop awards show, 2022 MAMA Awards, and the latest K-dramas and K-movie.

Catch romance, mystery-thriller, crime-action and more on TV via tvN (Ch 395 HD), ONE (Ch 393 HD), KBS World (Ch 392 HD) and tvN Movies (Ch 416 HD).

The available episodes can also be streamed via On Demand and Astro Go. 

Viewers can look forward to the following shows:

  • Live awards show 2022 MAMA Awards featuring the best K-pop performances by Stray Kids, TXT, Kep1er, JO1, ITZY, Enhyphen, IVE, Treasure and more, on November 29 and 30, via tvN (Ch 395 HD). 
  • Mystery-thriller drama series Summer Strike, premiering 24 hours after Korea, starring Im Si Wan, Kim Seol Hyun and more, on November 22 on ONE (Ch 393 HD). 
  • Romance drama series Love in the Moonlight, starring Park Bo Gum, Kim Yoo Jung and more, now available every Tuesday and Wednesday on KBS World (Ch 392 HD). 
  • Mystery and supernatural drama series The Ghost Detective, starring Choi Daniel, Park Eun-Jin and Lee Ji-Ah, premiering on November 8 on KBS World (Ch 392 HD). 
  • Crime-action movie The Roundup, starring Ma Dong-Sik, Don Lee, Son Sukku, Choi Guy-Hwa and more, premiering on November 26 via tvN Movies (Ch 416 HD).

Summer Strike [24 hours after Korea] [Premiere]

November 22, Tuesday & Wednesday, 6.55pm

Based on a webtoon of the same title, the drama revolves around two people, Ahn Dae Bum (Im Si Wan) and Lee Yeo Reum (Kim Seol Hyun). Dae Bum is currently holding down a job as a librarian in Angok, a little town by the seaside. He is a Math whiz who competed against Seoul National University some 20 years ago while Yeo Reum has just been made a permanent employee after working for five years. However, just as she receives recognition in her company, she quits her stressful city job. She calculates that she can probably sustain for two years on her life savings, and hence plans to relocate to Angok to do absolutely nothing.

Love in the Moonlight

To protect herself and her family, Hong Ra On disguises herself as a man and counsels men on dating. Due to a love letter she wrote for a client, she meets Crown Prince Hyo Myung. Ra On is unaware that he is the Crown Prince, and Hyo Myung is unaware that Ra On is a woman. Soon after Ra On is forced to become a eunuch by loan sharks, and the Crown Prince and Ra On become interested in each other. As Ra On tries to survive the palace and the Crown Prince navigates his journey to become king, will their love prosper? 

The Ghost Detective [Premiere]

Detective Lee Da-Il, who catches ghosts, tries to solve the case of his assistant, Jung Yeo-Wool's Younger sibling's bizarre death. He runs into a mysterious woman in red called Sunwoo Hye who appears at every crime scene.

The Roundup [Premiere]

November 26, Saturday, 10pm

tvN Movies (Ch 416 HD), On Demand & Astro Go

Four years after the events of Garibong district round up operation, Geumcheon Police’s Major Crimes Unit is given a mission to repatriate a fugitive who fled to Vietnam.
