AN 'AUNTY' in Ipoh has gained internet fame after she confronted a man who was apparently being 'too noisy' while playing basketball at a sheltered neighbourhood court.
In an Instagram post (IG/qi.yongg) on July 22, the aunty is seen marching up to the man, banging a pan and a spatula to ‘drown out’ the sound of the basketball.
The aunty is also heard shouting insults at the man, claiming he was being rude by making so much noise in the morning shooting hoops.
The man who arrived at the court around 10am looked surprised at first, but then calmly continued with his game.
An uncle from the houses nearby tried to defuse the situation but later left.
The drama continued for about 10 minutes until the aunty gave up and the man just finished and left.
According to reports, the aunty is apparently famous around the area for creating similar disturbances.
