IT'S time to tap on the #kitajagakita spirit once again. Technology company Grab is calling on Malaysians during this season of giving to continue supporting the different communities around us who are undervalued and underserved.

As 2020 draws to a close, it is that time to pause and reflect on the year. It may have been filled with struggles and anxiety, but it also gave us a chance to appreciate the people and blessings in our lives.

The true essence of the Malaysian spirit shines as we band together to care and look out for each other.

Treat your delivery heroes this festive season

The ride-hailing app and food delivery service is making it easier for users to give back to the riders who had been working hard during the movement control order.

In Klang Valley, from December 21 until 27, Grab is partnering with Pizza Hut, Secret Recipe and Texas Chicken so that customers can pbuy a meal for their delivery person via the GrabFood app when ordering from these restaurants.

Between 4pm to 6pm, Grab and its partners will be subsidising the meals, which means that customers will only need to pay RM3 to treat their delivery person from the selected menu.

Spread joy by donating to charities and communities in need

In keeping with the spirit of giving, Grab reminds users to look out for those who are less fortunate and are still going through a hard time.

For this, Grab users can donate their GrabRewards Points to make a difference in someone else’s life. From just 480 points (RM3), you can now make a donation to various partner organisations and charities such as Unicef My, the National Kidney Foundation, the Women’s Aid Organisation and more listed in the GrabRewards catalogue.

Despite 2020 having been an unprecedented year, Grab is determined that we can come together to ensure the year ends a little brighter. – The Vibes, December 22, 2020
