A TIKTOK video of a man finding what appear to be tiger paw prints behind the International Islamic University (IIUM)  Gombak campus has gone viral on social media.

The minute-long video, uploaded by Yusof, shows him walking along a remote jungle trail when he suddenly discovers several huge animal paw prints in the mud.

In the video, the man is seen squatting down to take a closer look, saying that the prints "look very new, as if they were just left", and comparing its size with his palm.

Soon after, he looked around nervously and recited a short prayer, then suddenly turned and ran.

The camera shook violently and the picture stopped abruptly after the phone fell to the ground.

In a follow-up message, Yusof claimed that he heard a noise from a nearby bush.

"I wasn't going to stay and see what it was," he said.

Some netizens speculated that the paw prints could be linked to a tiger sighting reported earlier this month in the Ukay Perdana area.

Others have warned people not to go into the jungle alone, with one person writing: "Don't go alone, bro, those paw prints look real."

According to reports in Sin Chew, authorities have yet to confirm whether the paw prints were indeed from a tiger, but there have been reports of wild animals in Gombak and the nearby forest area in the past. – October 25, 2025
