BolehJe, a youth-focused digital platform that connects users with gig opportunities, flexible projects and community initiatives, was officially launched yesterday.

The launch, which took place at Tamarind Square, Cyberjaya, marked an important step for the platform in addressing the challenges faced by young people, including limited job opportunities, rising cost of living and the need for more flexible and relevant sources of income for today’s lifestyle.

BolehJe Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Angeline Barron (Chai) said that the platform was developed based on the real realities faced by Malaysian youth today.

“BolehJe was created to provide more opportunities for young people to generate income, build skills and move more flexibly. We want to ensure that opportunities are no longer limited to certain groups, but are instead accessible to all,” he said.

The launch ceremony also saw a special session with BolehJe’s sponsoring partners, who were given special time to share their respective roles and support for youth development and the local economic ecosystem.

Among the sponsors involved are K1 Exhaust, Car Com Tyres Auto Services, Alha Alfa Makeup and QPac, representing various industries including automotive, beauty, services and technology.

This collaboration reflects the industry's confidence in BolehJe's vision and potential as a youth empowerment platform.

To celebrate the launch, BolehJe is also introducing a giveaway campaign offering various attractive prizes, including an iPhone 17, electric bicycles, automotive products such as exhaust and black oil, as well as Ley Pak Restaurant food vouchers, in addition to several other prizes.

Participation is open to users who download the BolehJe application and register for free, while the winner will be announced next Wednesday via BolehJe's official social media accounts.

Chai said that the change reflects the company's aspiration to grow more comprehensively.
