A YOUNG woman with a learning disability who has spent five years building a burger business with her father has received support from Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim after her story went viral on social media.

Jaheerah Nadzri, better known as Eerah, operates Eerah Burger in Kota Warisan, demonstrating determination to build a livelihood despite the challenges she faces as a person with disabilities.

Her efforts have drawn widespread attention online and inspired members of the public, with the story also reaching the country’s leadership.

Senior political secretary to the Prime Minister, Datuk Ahmad Farhan Fauzi, visited Eerah and her father and presented her with a special contribution on Anwar’s behalf.

“Although Adik Eerah is a person with a learning disability, including dyslexia, her spirit and determination prove that limitations are not an obstacle to success,” he said in a Facebook post.

Ahmad Farhan said Anwar had taken notice of Eerah’s story after it went viral on social media recently.

“Representing the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, I presented a contribution to Adik Eerah as a gesture of care and encouragement for her to achieve greater success,” he said.

He also expressed hope that Eerah’s business would continue to grow and that her perseverance would remain an inspiration to the community. - October 22, 2026
