THE Malaysian AIDS Foundation recently introduced its exclusive Red Ribbon Celebrity Supporters (RRCS) fabric face mask series. The first series is inspired by actor and film director Datuk Aaron Aziz, and songstress Dayang Nurfaizah.

The sale of the face mask is to support efforts in helping People Living with HIV (PLHIV). All profits will be channelled to the community in the Treatment, Care and Support programmes run by MAF.

MAF chairman Prof Datuk Dr Adeeba Kamarulzaman, said: “The RRCS have been an excellent liaison in channelling information about MAF to their fans and the public since its inception in 2009.

“Therefore, this latest initiative is another milestone in the cause to assist the PLHIV community in Malaysia with all profits supporting the efforts of Ending AIDS by 2030. MAF is grateful for the support of the RRCS in making this initiative a success.”

“Being appointed as RRCS by MAF is such a great honour. I will use my influence on this platform to support the noble cause by MAF. I urge all of you to support this effort in assisting the community,” said Aaron.

“I am honoured to be part of this initiative to support the PLHIV in Malaysia. It is timely as face masks are mandatory. The interesting design can be a collector's item for my fans,” said Dayang.

The agency provides a comprehensive service that is well accredited by the Ministry of Health Malaysia and compliant with the World Health Organisation’s standards. The face mask passed the test on the bacterial filtration efficiency making it safe to use.

Priced at RM39.90, the face mask will be available on the website, yam.org.my, and at MAF’s official store in Shopee, shopee.com.my/maf.os. It is designed with a special pattern that reflects the personality of both artists and originality.
