OSCAR-winning actress Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh and her fiance Datuk Seri Jean Todt have married after almost two decades together.

The couple exchanged vows on Thursday (July 27) in Geneva, Switzerland, reported The Straits Times.

Friends and family were present at the ceremony, with Brazilian F1 racer Felipe Massa, 42, sharing the good news.

In a social media post on Friday, he congratulated the newlyweds: “Happy marriage #JeanTodt & #michelleyeoh love you so much”.

In a photo shared by Massa, it is understood Todt, 77, first met Yeoh, 60, in Shanghai, China on June 4, 2004.

The French F1 legend and motor racing executive proposed to her on July 26, 2004, after one-and-a-half months of dating.

In March, Yeoh became the first Malaysian to win an Oscar and the first Asian woman to win the Best Actress award.

Todt led Ferrari (with technical director Ross Brawn and driver Michael Schumacher) to multiple world championships titles.

He was FIA president until 2021. – The Vibes, July 28, 2023
