ANOTHER MP from Perikatan Nasional today declared support for Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Datuk Syed Abu Hussin Hafiz Syed Abdul Fasal (Bukit Gantang-PN) declared his support for the prime minister in the Dewan Rakyat when posing a supplementary question during the Prime Minister’s Question Time.

“I also call for Pagoh (Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin) and Bera (Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob) to come together with Tambun (Anwar) to build a Madani society.

“I am ready to give and help the government create a civil society to deal with the rising price of goods and the cost of living.

“With this, Bukit Gantang declares its support for Tambun as the 10th prime minister and the idea of the Madani government,” he said.

He had also earlier asked Anwar if he was ready to accept more lawmakers from the opposition to join him in prioritising the people’s wellbeing.

Kuala Kangsar MP Datuk Iskandar Dzulkarnain, Labuan MP Datuk Dr Suhaili Abdul Rahman, Jeli MP Zahari Kechik and Gua Musang MP Mohd Azizi Abu Naim had previously expressed their support for Anwar. – The Vibes, November 28, 2023
