CHRISTMAS, like every other celebration, is a time for one to be with their families and loved ones.

However, due to work obligations and also financial constraints, not everyone has the opportunity to be back home for the festivities.

In the true spirit of being Malaysian, a group of friends, mostly Malays, stepped up to spread some Christmas cheer for their friend recently.

@ahhpoi, an Iban from Sarawak was unable to go home due to certain commitments and not wanting him to feel down on Christmas day, his friends decided to surprise him.

His friends secretly planned a Christmas party for him and even decorated the venue with Christmas ornaments and even a little tree.

They then waited for @ahhpoi to get home and surprised him as he entered the door.

@ahhpoi was not only surprised but also overwhelmed with emotions and was seen covering his face and tearing.

The touching moment was captured on video and uploaded on TikTok and has since won praise and admiration from netizens. - The Vibes, December 30, 2023
