THE mobile phone has been noted to be a major distraction, especially when driving, even to the extent of causing accidents.

Recently, netizens were tickled over a viral video posted by @suriamalaysia on Instagram where a woman accidentally hops on the wrong motorcycle while busy with her phone.

The comical scenario unfolded when a couple pulled up at a petrol station and the woman got off, all the time busy with her phone.

Her partner then waits in line while another motorcyclist refuels and then moves forward to allow her partner to take the spot.

Still busy with her phone, the woman 'cooly' gets on the other motorcycle, while her partner rushes to call her.

Realising her mistake she quickly gets off, while the other motorcyclist turns back in amusement, and gets on the 'correct' motorcycle with her partner.
