AIRASIA is offering 22,000 seats at a fixed-rate price for late-night flights between Peninsular Malaysia and East Malaysia to allow Sabahans and Sarawakians to return home for the upcoming Hari Raya celebration.

The budget airline has priced one-way fare at RM298 to several Sarawak destinations and RM348 for Sabah destinations from Kuala Lumpur and Johor Baru.

The offer will run from April 5 to 17 with established connections airports in Kuching, Sibu, Bintulu and Miri in Sarawak, as well as Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan and Tawau in Sabah.

The same rate applies for connections from Kuala Lumpur and Johor Baru.

The promotional fares are available for booking starting today until April 17 on the airline’s website and the AirAsia MOVE app.

Transport Minister Anthony Loke said the airline’s special fixed rate prices are aligned with the government’s commitment to facilitate air travel for Malaysians at a reasonable and affordable fare.

“I am pleased to support AirAsia’s Fixed Fares initiative for the upcoming Hari Raya celebration,” he said. – The Vibes, March 4, 2024
