THE Malaysian Humanitarian Aid and Relief (Mahar) today reiterated its call for everyone to continue sharing and speaking out against the atrocious crimes of the Zionist regime.

This after an ambush by the Israeli regime, allegedly assisted by the United States military in the "rescue" operation of four hostages held by Hamas resulted in more than 274 deaths and 700 civilian injuries in Camp Nuseirat.

“These insane attacks cost the lives of many innocent civilians including women and children.

“Targeting refugee camps, UN premises or those used for other military purposes cannot be the new norm. This must stop and Israel as well as its few remaining allies should be held responsible," said Mahar advisor Nurul Izzah Anwar.

She called for an immediate political solution to be brokered by neutral non-partisan entities to end the conflict and accord Palestinians their rights.

“Israel's allies must respect the decisions of international institutions, completely cease all military operations and invasions; and also stop any bombing activities,” she stressed.

She also said that Mahar, through the "Dapur Ihsan '' initiative, stands committed to providing cooked food to those taking refuge in Deir Al-Balah.

Israel’s Ambassador to the UN, Gilad Erdan, had also recently said that he received official notification of the decision from UN Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres that the UN had already added Israel to the blacklist of countries that have abused children in armed conflict. – The Vibes, June 10, 2024
