HEAVY rain that hit the Klang Valley this afternoon caused water to rise on several roads, triggering flash floods in various areas.
A check on social media revealed road users sharing footage and photos of rising water levels in locations including Denai Alam, Taman Tun Dr Ismail (TTDI), Bukit Jalil, USJ, and along the Federal Highway near Amcorp Mall.
Some footage showed vehicles having to go through floodwaters, while the heavy downpour has significantly reduced visibility for drivers.
In Denai Alam, a Threads user noted that some motorists were forced to turn back due to the conditions on the roads in the area.
Another user, who also tagged the location as Denai Alam, reported that motorists attempting to enter the area from the direction of the Damansara-Shah Alam Elevated Expressway (DASH) were forced to turn back.
A similar situation was reported in TTDI, where a user shared photos of several vehicles navigating through flooded roads.
In Bukit Jalil, it was reported that water had begun to cover the road while motorists were travelling towards Puchong.
Meanwhile, heavy rain accompanied by strong winds was also reported in USJ 9 and rising water levels were also reported on the Federal Highway near Amcorp Mall. – November 2, 2026
