A WOMAN was allegedly stabbed to death by her husband during an argument at their house in Kampung Simee Ipoh this morning.

According to reports in Harian Metro, the incident occurred about 8.30am and was witnessed by the couple’s 12-year-old daughter.

It is learnt that the victim was arguing with her 56-year-old husband when he allegedly hit her on the head and stabbed her repeatedly.

Family members claimed that the woman had often been a victim of domestic violence.

The suspect has been detained and Perak police chief Datuk Seri Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri said investigations were ongoing.
