POLICE are seeking the public's help to locate a 17-year-old girl who reportedly left a shelter home in Petaling Jaya on Friday (Feb 28).

Petaling Jaya police chief Shahrulnizam Ja'afar said a missing person report was lodged on the disappearance of the teen, who is known as Thavamalar at 5.13pm Saturday (March 1).

"The teenager was last seen around Jalan 12/6, in Section 12, Petaling Jaya, at 7.05pm on Friday.

"She is 159 cm tall, has long hair, and is slim," he said in a statement.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to contact the nearest police station or the Petaling Jaya district police operations room at 03-7966 2222.- March 3, 2025
