WARISAN president Shafie Apdal made it clear that the only alliance his party will form is with the people, not with any political party.

“The only alliance we will make is with the people of Sabah.

“We will not form any political alliances,” Shafie said, reaffirming his stand on contesting the upcoming election independently.

“We are committed to representing the people, not political interests.

“Our focus remains on uplifting the lives of Sabahans,” he added.

Shafie said this during a breaking of fast event in Tunku Lahad Datu today.

Shafie noted that Warisan’s leadership, though financially limited, is united in its determination to push for a better future for Sabah, relying on the strength and support of the people.

“No other party will define our direction. We will stand alone, with the people who need us,” Shafie stressed.
