TWO PKR vice-president candidates Datuk Seri R. Ramanan and Dr Sathia Prakash Nadarajan defended their positions at the division level in the party's election today.

Ramanan, who is also PKR deputy information chief 1, won uncontested as Sungai Buloh division chief, while Dr Sathia secured victory in Hulu Selangor.

The deputy entrepreneur development and cooperatives minister defended his position in a division with 4,604 eligible voters.

Meanwhile, Dr Sathia, who is PKR deputy secretary-general, won a three-cornered contest in Hulu Selangor, securing 3,016 votes.

The other two candidates, former Hulu Selangor division chief June Leow Hsiad Hui, garnered 993 votes, while J Kalaichelvan received 609 votes.

According to the PKR 2025 election website, there are 5,538 eligible voters in the Hulu Selangor division, with 4,618 ballot papers issued.

For the deputy Sungai Buloh division chief, it was won by G.Suraise, who received 2,462 votes, from Ramanan's team.

Meanwhile, Ramanan's team also succeeded in taking control of the Angkatan Muda Keadilan (AMK) and Women's wing, where the position of AMK Chief was successfully defended by Bariq Zaman Batharul Zaman with 771 votes.

For the Sungai Buloh Wanita Keadilan chief position, Sarimah Lisut successfully garnered 1,039 votes, surpassing her challenger, Nurasyikin Maarum. - April 13,
