A TEENAGE boy endured a harrowing experience when he was almost kidnapped by two individuals while jogging in Section 13, Shah Alam yesterday.

Shah Alam Police Chief Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim, said police received a report regarding the incident from the 15-year-old victim at 10.42 pm.

He said that in the incident at 5.15 pm, the victim was jogging alone before being cornered by two men in an old grey car believed to be a Proton Saga or Iswara.

"One of the suspects got out of the car, pointed a knife and ordered the victim to get into the car.

"The complainant refused and struggled with the suspect before managing to escape to the nearby condominium guardhouse to get help," he said.

He said that as a result of the struggle, the teenager suffered a cut on his right cheek and cuts on his right and left arms.

He said that the complainant was taken to hospital for further treatment.

"The investigation is being conducted under Section 363/511 of the Penal Code which carries a prison sentence of up to seven years and a fine.

"The investigation is also being conducted under Section 324 of the Penal Code which carries a prison sentence of up to 10 years, or a fine, or whipping, or any two.
