TWO men who performed a stunt by climbing onto the roof of a moving vehicle on the Damansara-Puchong Highway (LDP), in Sepang have been arrested.

Sepang Police Chief, Norhizam Bahaman said the duo was remanded for two days from yesterday.

"Initial investigations found that the two foreign men who performed the stunt were passengers, while the driver was not involved.

"The two suspects are foreigners on their way to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) to send the driver back to Tajikistan," he said in a statement.

Norhizam said that investigations found that the first man who committed the act re-entered the vehicle through the rear window.

He said that the second individual sitting in the back also committed the same act.

Norhizam said that this action is a serious offence that can endanger personal safety as well as other road users.

He said police will conduct further investigations under Section 32(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987. - May 17, 2025
