FOUR trailers were severely damaged after a fire broke out at a workshop on Jalan Utama D Alpinia in Cyberjaya on Friday night.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department Operations Division Assistant Director, Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar, said the department received an emergency call regarding the incident at 9.48pm. A team from the Cyberjaya Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) was immediately dispatched to the scene.

“At the time of the incident, all the heavy vehicles were parked within the workshop compound. No casualties were reported,” he said.

He added that the fire destroyed approximately 95 per cent of each trailer, and firefighters managed to bring the blaze under control by 10.15pm.

“The operation to extinguish the fire is being carried out by the team on site,” Ahmad Mukhlis said.

The effort involved 25 firefighters and was supported by teams from the Puchong and Seri Kembangan fire stations. - June 7, 2025
