FOUR individuals, including two children, were killed while one woman sustained critical injuries after the car they were travelling in collided with a lorry on the main road of Felda Chiku 1 here on Monday. Gua Musang, Road Accident, Felda Chiku, Fatal Crash, Children Killed

The incident occurred at approximately 9am, involving a Honda EK sedan carrying five occupants, which collided head-on with a lorry, resulting in all car passengers being trapped in the wreckage. The lorry driver was unharmed.

Commander of the Gua Musang Fire and Rescue Station (BBP), PBK II Nik Mohd Fakri Md Nawi, stated that emergency services were alerted through the MERS system and dispatched to the scene, 34 kilometres away.

"Upon arrival at 9.34am, it was found that five victims were trapped inside the car," he said in a statement on Sunday.

"A man, a woman, and two children were confirmed dead at the scene, while a woman who was driving the car was in critical condition."

The injured victim was transported to hospital for emergency treatment. The deceased have been handed over to police for further action.

The operation involved nine personnel from the Gua Musang BBP, supported by a Fire Rescue Tender, an Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) vehicle, and a First Response Vehicle (Mitsubishi Triton). - August 11, 2025
