The girl, who created the website for the content, collaborated with four friends and had a WhatsApp group with 762 members - August 19, 2025

HOME Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail disclosed in the Dewan Rakyat today that police, in collaboration with other ministries, busted an operation in 2025 involving a group of school children, including a 12-year-old girl who created a pornographic website.

"We busted a group of schoolchildren. This was done in cooperation with the relevant ministries. The girl is only 12. The one who made this website is a 12-year-old girl. She conspired with her four friends.

"The WhatsApp group had many people... 762 people. Each of them took pictures, and body parts, and then sold them.

"She dropped out of school because her monthly income was much higher than her parents' income. So why would she want to go to school anymore?" he said during the Ministers' Question Time (MQT) in the Dewan Rakyat.

Saifuddin was responding to a question from Sabri Azit (PN-Jerai) about the extent to which the Home Ministry (KDN) is standardizing and coordinating with other ministries to curb online "swinger" crimes early to prevent them from becoming a culture.

The Home Minister acknowledged the complexities of taking action against the children, who are subject to various laws. He stated that they cannot be brought to an open court.

"So how do we take action? Our laws are diverse. If we want to take action against them, SUHAKAM will say they are just children.

"Another chapter is what will happen to their future? What action can we take? So, in enforcing the law, when we find a case like this, it is clear that we still have to get views from various other agencies. That's our modus operandi," he said. - August 19, 2025
