King, Queen extend Malaysia Day greetings

Sultan Ibrahim also expressed gratitude for the unity and spirit of consensus among the multi-racial people - September 16, 2025

HIS Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, and Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah, Queen of Malaysia, extended their heartfelt greetings for Malaysia Day today.

Through a sharing on Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar's Facebook, the two of them also prayed that Malaysia would always be blessed by Aallah SWT with lasting peace and protected from any calamities.

Sultan Ibrahim also expressed gratitude for the unity and spirit of consensus among the multi-racial people who have continued to be the pillar of the country's strength.

The 2025 Malaysia Day celebration with the theme 'Malaysia Madani: Rakyat Disantuni' will take place at the PICCA@Arena Butterworth Convention Centre featuring various exciting activities starting at 9am.

This edition is being held in Penang in line with the practice of rotating the celebration location between Sabah, Sarawak and Peninsular Malaysia every year.

The Sultan of Pahang, Al- Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, and Tengku Ampuan Pahang, Tun­ku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah, have also exten­ded Malaysia Day greetings to the people of Pahang and all Malaysians.

In a post on the official Kesultanan Pahang Facebook page, their Royal Highnesses urged Malaysians to embrace the spirit of unity, citing the proverb “United we stand, divided we fall”.

Malaysia Day, celebrated annually on September 16, commemorates the formation of Malaysia in 1963 with the joining of Malaya, Sabah, Sarawak and Singapore (which later separated in 1965). - September 16, 2025
