HIS MAJESTY the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Ibrahim has conveyed his warmest greetings and deepest appreciation to all members of the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) in conjunction with the force’s 92nd anniversary.

In a message shared on His Majesty’s official Facebook page, Sultan Ibrahim expressed his admiration for the dedication and sacrifices made by ATM personnel in safeguarding Malaysia’s sovereignty.

“His Majesty, as the Supreme Commander of the Malaysian Armed Forces, prays that all ATM members are continuously blessed with good health, strength and high fighting spirit in fulfilling their duties for our beloved homeland,” the message read.

The Agong also paid tribute to ATM veterans who had served the nation with distinction, and offered prayers for those who have passed.

“Al-Fatihah to those who have departed from us. May their souls be placed among the righteous and the martyrs,” His Majesty added.

In Kuantan, Sultan of Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and Tengku Ampuan Pahang Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah also extended their congratulations on the occasion of ATM Day.

The royal couple conveyed their “immense pride and heartfelt appreciation” to both serving and retired personnel for their courage, dedication and resilience in defending the nation's peace and sovereignty.

“Respect is also extended to the ATM heroes who fell in the line of duty. Their deeds, service and sacrifices will forever be remembered, and may their souls be showered with divine mercy and placed among the martyrs,” read a message on the Pahang Royal Household’s Facebook page.

They also prayed for the continued modernisation and strategic advancement of the ATM, and for its enduring role at the forefront of national defence, ensuring peace, prosperity and sovereignty for Malaysia.

Meanwhile, Pahang Chief Minister Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail joined in the tributes, thanking the ATM for its “unwavering sacrifice, bravery and dedication” in remaining the nation’s steadfast defence against any threat to peace and stability. - September 16, 2025
