EC extends postal vote application deadline to Oct 27
EC advised eligible voters to submit their applications promptly - October 22, 2025

THE Election Commission (EC) has extended the closing date for postal voting applications under Categories 1B and 1C until Oct 27.

EC secretary Datuk Khairul Shahril Idrus said in a statement today that the extension applies to Malaysians residing overseas and agencies or organisations eligible to apply through the online portal.

He advised eligible voters to submit their applications promptly and contact the EC hotline at 03-8892 7080 or 03-8892 7018 for further information. – October 22, 2025
