UNITED States' Air Force One was welcomed by a Royal Malaysian Air Force F/A-18 upon entering Malaysian airspace ahead of the 47th ASEAN Summit today.

The video was shared on X by Margo Martin, who is the special assistant to the US president and communications advisor at the White House.

In the video, the RMAF jet is seen flying alongside Air Force One as the president's plane approached Kuala Lumpur.

President Donald Trump arrived at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 1 at 9.48 am today and was greeted by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, alongside Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan and Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.

Trump and Anwar were later seen travelling in the presidential limousine, The Beast, to the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), ahead of the 47th ASEAN Summit and the 13th ASEAN-US Summit scheduled to begin at 2 pm. - October 26, 2025
