A FEMALE student was injured after falling from the first floor of a secondary school in Shah Alam, yesterday.

Shah Alam District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said the victim was a Form One student at the school.

"The victim was then taken to the Shah Alam Hospital for treatment.

"The victim suffered wounds to her forehead and leg and is now reported to be conscious and stable," he said in a statement on Friday.

He said initial investigations found that the incident was caused by depression experienced by the victim.

"The victim is believed to have been facing some relationship issues at the same school.

"The case is being investigated under Section 507C of the Penal Code," he said. - October 31, 2025
