POLICE in Kluang have arrested a 49-year-old unemployed man following allegations that he assaulted a woman, who is a single mother, after only a month of acquaintance. The incident occurred around 2 pm on Tuesday while the victim was in a car with the suspect.

Kluang District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Bahrin Mohd Noh, said the suspect had met the victim via social media a month ago before arranging to meet in person.
