Sri Lankan man dies after fall from ninth floor of KL condominium

The 26-year-old Sri Lankan labourer was found dead after falling from the ninth floor of Mutiara Condominium in Sentul yesterday morning. Police have classified the case as sudden death.

A SRI LANKAN man was killed after falling from the ninth floor of Mutiara Condominium on Jalan Sentul Pasar yesterday morning.

Sentul District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Ahmad Sukarno Mohd Zahari said police received an alert from members of the public at around 8.40am regarding the incident.

“Upon inspection at the scene, the victim, a 26-year-old Sri Lankan national working as a labourer, was found lying near the swimming pool on the second floor of the condominium,” he said in a statement today.

He added that medical personnel from Hospital Kuala Lumpur confirmed the man’s death at the scene.

Ahmad Sukarno said police conducted a search of the condominium unit and found nothing suspicious that could be linked to the incident.
