POLICE have arrested three men to assist investigations into a fatal shooting at a petrol station in Bukit Tinggi, Selangor.

Selangor Police Chief Datuk Shazeli Kahar said on Friday that the suspects, aged between 19 and 35, were detained in the Klang area and are being remanded until 17 November.

“Investigations are still ongoing and at this stage, we are looking into various angles, including possible secret society elements and so on.

“Many aspects need to be examined, including the background of the deceased (the victim). Give the police the space and opportunity to conduct the investigation fairly and thoroughly,” he said at a press conference today.

The 7 November incident went viral after closed-circuit television footage circulated on social media, showing a motorcyclist believed to have opened fire at a customer at the station.

The 34-year-old victim later died from multiple gunshot wounds to the chest and abdomen.

Police subsequently confirmed that the victim was wanted under the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act 2012 (SOSMA) and had several other criminal records. - November 14, 2025
