Incident happened when the victim was travelling from the Sungai Besar UMNO Division office towards his home in Bagan Sungai Besar - December 3, 2025

A 62-YEAR-OLD motorcyclist was killed after his machine was struck by a car in a collision along Kilometre 48 of the Klang–Teluk Intan road in Sungai Besar late yesterday afternoon.

Sabak Bernam District Police Chief, Superintendent Md Yusof Ahmad, said the incident occurred at about 4.10pm and the victim died at the scene.

“The incident happened when the victim was travelling from the Sungai Besar UMNO Division office towards his home in Bagan Sungai Besar,” he said.

“At the same time, a Honda Accord travelling from Teluk Intan towards Klang is believed to have hit the victim’s motorcycle when he suddenly changed direction from the left lane into the car lane on the right.”

The victim’s remains were taken to Sabak Bernam Hospital for a post-mortem examination.

Md Yusof said the case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.

“Witnesses to the incident are urged to come forward and contact the Investigating Officer, Inspector Siti Atikah Md Ali, at 013-3328212 to assist with the investigation,” he added. - December 3, 2025
