POLICE are investigating allegations that an 11-year-old male student at a religious school in Kampung Pandan has fallen victim to sexual abuse.

Wangsa Maju District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Lazim Ismail, confirmed that a report was lodged on Tuesday at 4.16 pm.

“The victim is an 11-year-old male student. The case is still under investigation, and the police are actively seeking the man involved to assist with the inquiry,” he said in a statement on Friday.

The incident has been classified under Section 14(d) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017, which governs offences of this nature.

Authorities have urged anyone with information that could assist the investigation to come forward, as the police continue efforts to locate the suspect and ensure the protection and safety of the child involved. - December 19, 2025
