THE Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, together with the Tengku Permaisuri of Selangor, Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin, extended their heartfelt Christmas greetings to Christians, particularly those celebrating the festival in Selangor.

According to a post on the official Facebook page of the Selangor Royal Office, the Sultan encouraged the faithful to observe the celebration with joy, prosperity, and a spirit of unity, while sharing gratitude with family and the wider community.

“I hope that the spirit of love and mutual respect expressed through this Christmas celebration will continue to strengthen unity and harmony among the multi-racial community in this country,” His Royal Highness said.

The royal message comes as part of Selangor’s ongoing efforts to promote interfaith understanding and social cohesion, highlighting the significance of fostering mutual respect across Malaysia’s diverse population. - December 24, 2025
