GABUNGAN Parti Sarawak (GPS) Secretary-General, Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi, denied a statement that went viral on social media regarding the party's alleged collaboration with PAS.

In a post on his Facebook page, Nanta said that he had never issued the statement.

“I strongly deny the allegations that have gone viral recently that I issued certain statements regarding political collaborations."

“I never issued that statement, and it is completely untrue,” he wrote.

Nanta, who is also the Minister of Works, said that his party was disappointed with the actions of a few irresponsible parties in spreading false news to the point of confusing various parties.

“Stop spreading unverified information. Check the facts before sharing,” he stressed.

Earlier, a statement and poster linking the Kapit Member of Parliament to collaborating with PAS went viral on social media.

Through the viral poster, it was announced that GPS had no obstacles to collaborating with PAS. – March 10, 2026
