IJM Corporation Bhd announced that its chairman, Tan Sri Krishnan Tan, has been cleared of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) investigations concerning the voluntary takeover offer by Sunway Bhd.

According to a statement, MACC has confirmed that no further prosecution action will be taken and that the matter has been categorised as “No Further Action” (NFA) in relation to investigations.

"IJM welcomes the conclusion of this matter. The company has fully cooperated with MACC throughout the process and has remained committed to supporting the authorities as required.

"With this matter now concluded, IJM moves forward with resolve, focused on executing its strategic priorities and unlocking the value of its portfolio across the group’s core businesses," said IJM Corp as reported by Bernama.

In a separate statement, Tan said that MACC has confirmed that the investigations have been completed and that the case is now categorised as NFA, as stated in a letter dated April 30, 2026. - May 16, 2026
