Johor PRN: No PN, Muda or Bersama candidate leading in any DUN

PN, which is contesting 33 seats, Muda, which is contesting in four seats, and Bersama, which is fielding candidates in 15 seats, still failed to lead in any State Legislative Assembly (DUN) constituency.

NO candidate from Perikatan Nasional (PN), Muda or Bersama is leading in any seat in the Johor State Election (PRN) according to unofficial results at 8.30 pm.

Based on unofficial results, PN, which is contesting 33 seats, Muda, which is contesting in four seats, and Bersama, which is fielding candidates in 15 seats, still failed to lead in any State Legislative Assembly (DUN) constituency.

The vote counting process at all official tallying centres is still ongoing, and the official results are expected to be announced by the election authorities after the verification process is completed soon.

A total of 56 DUN seats are being contested in the Johor PRN, with 29 seats needed to form the state government through a simple majority.

In the 15th Johor PRN, which was held in March 2022, Barisan Nasional (BN) formed the state government after winning 40 of the 56 DUN seats contested.

The voter turnout as of 4 pm was 63.13 per cent.

Based on the Election Commission (EC) infographic, 1,693,625 out of 2,682,642 registered voters had fulfilled their responsibilities.

Semarang State Assembly recorded the highest voter turnout at 72.6 per cent, followed by Sri Medan (71.6 per cent) and Sedili (70.5 per cent). – July 11, 2026
