A POST-MORTEM on a man believed to have fallen from a condominium in Desa ParkCity, Kepong, last Thursday has found that he died from multiple injuries sustained in a fall from a height.
Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Fadil Marsus confirmed that the post-mortem was completed at 7pm on Saturday at the National Institute of Forensic Medicine, Kuala Lumpur Hospital.
He said the examination was conducted on the man, who police believe was involved in the deaths of his wife and two children, as well as on the victims' husband.
“The post-mortem found that the cause of death was multiple injuries caused by a fall from a height.
“Both families (of the suspect and his wife) are now in the process of taking the bodies home for burial,” he said in a brief statement.
It was earlier reported that four members of a family were found dead at a condominium in Desa ParkCity, Kepong with Fadil saying police received a report at 3.32pm concerning a 48-year-old man who had fallen from the residential building.
Police went to the unit and, with the assistance of firefighters, forced open the door before finding three bodies in separate rooms — the man's wife and their two children.
Police subsequently confirmed that the three victims had died from stab wounds to the neck.
Investigations at the scene also uncovered a note believed to have been left by the 48-year-old man, indicating that the incident was linked to RM260,000 allegedly lost after his wife was duped by a “love scam” syndicate. - August 30, 2026
