HIS Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, has reviewed the Auditor-General’s Reports 2/2026, covering the financial statements and activities of the Federal Government as well as the financial management of state governments and agencies.
The reports were presented to His Majesty by Auditor-General Dato’ Seri Wan Suraya Wan Mohd Radzi during an audience at Istana Bukit Tunku in Kuala Lumpur today.
Among the documents presented was the Auditor-General’s Report 2/2026 on the Federal Government’s Financial Statements for 2025.
His Majesty was also presented with the report covering the activities of Federal Government ministries and departments, as well as reports on state government and agency financial statements, the activities of state ministries, departments and agencies, and the management of state government-owned companies.
His Majesty’s review of the reports underscores his concern over governance, financial management and accountability in the administration of public funds.
The reports provide an assessment of how government finances and activities are being managed at both federal and state levels. - September 8, 2026
