It is learnt that many of the new cases are coming from non-existing clusters, signalling further community spread.

In Miri, there is a new case that has travel history to neighbouring Brunei.

The state disaster management committee said in a statement that out of the 166 new cases today, 94 are from Sibu.

“In Miri, there are 48 new cases, 15 in Kuching, four in Beluru, three in Bintulu and one each in Belaga and Samarahan.

“Miri’s 32 cases are from sources unrelated to existing clusters.
