KUALA LUMPUR – PKR’s Larry Sng and Steven Choong are backing ruling federal coalition Perikatan Nasional, said Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin today.

In a Facebook post, Muhyiddin said he has received statutory declarations from the duo, stating their support for the pact.

“SDs from Julau YB Larry Sng and Tebrau YB Steven Choong were signed and delivered to me after a cabinet session to mark PN’s one year in Putrajaya.

“Alhamdulillah, this support will definitely strengthen the PN government in its efforts to manage the Covid-19 pandemic and revive the national economy.”

Sng and Choong are photographed presenting the prime minister with their SDs at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre this afternoon.

The same post also featured photos of Bersatu ministers Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali, Datuk Zuraida Kamaruddin, Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin and Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah, and PAS secretary-general Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan, who is de facto law minister.

Meanwhile, former PKR deputy president Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali told The Star that the duo’s support adds to PN’s multiracial composition. – The Vibes, February 28, 2021
