PUTRAJAYA – Bersatu supreme council members are trickling in for their 4.30pm meeting today to discuss Umno’s intention of severing ties with the party in the next general election.

Now arriving at the Everly Hotel here are Bersatu deputy president and Education Minister Datuk Mohd Radzi Md Jidin, International Industry and Trade Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali and Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah.

Others spotted at the hotel lobby are Ministers in Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Mohd Redzuan Md Yusof and Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed, as well asBersatu secretary-general and Home Minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin.

Party president and Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin arrived at 4.30pm.

This morning, Hamzah had said in a statement that the supreme council will decide the party’s stand following Umno’s intentions.

“We will then discuss our stand during the next Perikatan Nasional supreme council meeting with our components PAS, STAR, SAPP and Gerakan.” – The Vibes, March 4, 2021
