KUALA LUMPUR – Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin continues work despite still being in hospital, with the prime minister now alluding to more states having the potential to enter Phase 2 of the National Recovery Plan.

In a Facebook post today, Muhyiddin said he chaired a National Security Council meeting via videoconference from the hospital.

“Alhamdulillah, there are a few states showing good development and potential to meet the three threshold indicators soon, joining the five states already in Phase 2.

“I hope the situation in our country will be under control and more people will be vaccinated in the near future, with Malaysia receiving more vaccine supplies this month.”

Meanwhile, Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba in a press conference today hinted that another state will transition into Phase 2.

He said the matter will be made known by Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob later in the day.
