KUALA LUMPUR – Singer Siti Sarah Raissuddin died at 5.13am at Canselor Tuanku Muhriz Hospital UKM (HCTM) here after being admitted for Covid-19 recently. She was 37.

This was confirmed by her husband and comedian Shahmira Muhamad – better known as Shuib Sepahtu – and her management, Indigital Music.

“My angel has left forever. Please pray for her,” Shuib posted on his Instagram account.

The couple had been married since 2011.

Indigital Music in a Facebook post said: “It is with great sorrow that we write to inform that Siti Sarah passed away at 5.13am (at HCTM).

“Thank you for your prayers in the past few days since she was hospitalised.”

Siti Sarah, who was eight months pregnant, underwent surgery to save her baby’s life just three days ago. She died without seeing him.

Named Ayash Affan, the baby boy is in stable condition at hospital.

Siti Sarah was hospitalised on August 4 after suffering from chronic cough and low oxygen levels due to Covid-19. She and her family tested positive on July 25.
