KUALA LUMPUR – Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein, Khairy Jamaluddin (science, technology and innovation), Datuk Seri Reezal Merican Naina Merican (youth and sports) and Tan Sri Annuar Musa (Federal Territories) have arrived at Putra World Trade Centre following the end of a special cabinet meeting in Putrajaya.

They are here for a meet organised by Barisan Nasional to allow its MPs and leaders to clear the air over matters arising from Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin’s failed bid to call for an emergency.

The meeting will “cover everything”, Umno Supreme Council member Datuk Zahidi Zainul Abidin told The Vibes.

BN lawmakers arrived at the Umno headquarters earlier today, among them Gua Musang MP Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah, Datuk Seri Wee Jeck Seng (Tg Piai) and Datuk Zahidi Zainul Abidin (Padang Besar).

Yesterday, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong rejected Muhyiddin’s proposal for an emergency to be declared, and told politicians to stop politicking and focus on combating Covid-19 and reviving the economy.

Sources told The Vibes that this led to the prime minister contemplating tendering his resignation. – The Vibes, October 26, 2020
